STEFANO FAKE & THE FAKE FACTORY “COMEDIANS” 2020

COMEDIANS is a work of relational art. The artist FAKE prepares a series of masks that can be worn by visitors, as in the tradition of the masks of the Greek and Chinese theater or of the commedia dell’arte. In this 2020 work STEFANO FAKE uses the emojis used in messaging apps commonly used globally as masks. The words of Pirandello or Oscar Wilde on the concept of mask and face come to mind.

COMEDIANS è un’opera di arte relazionale. L’artista FAKE predispone una serie di maschere indossabili dai visitatori, come nella tradizione delle maschere del teatro greco, cinese o della commedia dell’arte. In quest’opera del 2020 STEFANO FAKE utilizza come maschere gli emoji utilizzati nelle app di messaggistica comunemente utilizzati a livello globale. Tornano in mente le parole di Pirandello o di Oscar Wilde sul concetto di maschera e volto.

COMEDIANS는 관계 예술 작품입니다. 작가 FAKE는 그리스와 중국의 극장이나 코메디아 델라르테의 전통 가면처럼 관람객이 착용할 수 있는 일련의 가면을 준비한다. 이 2020년 작업에서 STEFANO FAKE는 전 세계적으로 일반적으로 사용되는 메시징 앱에서 사용되는 이모티콘을 마스크로 사용합니다. 가면과 얼굴의 개념에 대한 피란델로나 오스카 와일드의 말이 떠오른다.
